Volunteer Work:

Fred has been involved in volunteer work since 2015 when he began teaching Norwegian to Syrian refugees. In 2017, he became a regular volunteer at a local language café, where he actively participates to help integrate new immigrants. He also contributes to the snakk-med-meg.no project.

Pursuing Life’s Riddles:

In March 2023, Fred gave a talk about UFOs at work, which reignited his interest in the subject. In April of the same year, he discovered the Hessdalen Project and, in May, became the Vice President of the organization. In June 2023, he helped register the Hessdalen Project as a non-profit organization.

His work with the Hessdalen Project involves organizing regular team meetings, coordinating online events on Discord, creating and participating in YouTube meetings, fundraising, advertising, as well as developing tools needed to run the organization, such as Google Workspace, updating the website and intranet, and creating database systems. Fred is also leading the organization of the project’s annual conference.

A Lifelong Passion for UFOs:

Fred’s lifelong passion for UFOs was reignited after a recent presentation at a local UFO club. The chairman surprised him by mentioning that they had met 48 years ago when Fred tried to start a UFO club in his hometown, unaware that Robert Moklev (the chairman) had already done so.
