Contact - Where?

From the many documented cases on record it is clear that Contact is occurring on a global level. There are many fascinating similarities between these cases, although specific aspects may sometimes be more commonly reported in certain countries / areas than others.

On a closer scale, where exactly can Contact occur?

Indoors

Many Contact experiences take place when the experiencer(s) involved are in their own home. However they do not always take place in familiar surroundings – people can sometimes be away from their usual address and staying at another house, hotel or campsite when Contact occurs, implying that they can be tracked and located.

If the beings involved with Contact are attempting to remain largely hidden from the human race as a whole (See Contact – Why?), then it would make sense to interact with experiencers while they are out of sight of other people in the local vicinity.

Outdoors

One of the common misconceptions about Contact is that it only takes place while people are lying down and asleep or about to drop off. This is completely incorrect. There have been many reported cases which have taken place while the experiencer has been wide awake and in the open air.

In the majority of these cases the individual(s) involved has / have been situated in a remote location with nobody else around. But occasionally, Contact has occurred while there have been others in the local vicinity, who have gone on to become witnesses of the event.

Travelling in Vehicle

There are many cases on record where people have experienced Contact while out driving or travelling in a car or another vehicle. While much of the time this will occur while there is no other traffic around, there may sometimes be other vehicles or pedestrians in the vicinity. However, these other people may not necessarily recollect what has taken place (See Contact – After Effects)

It can sometimes involve direct interaction with the vehicle itself, or at other times just the occupants while the vehicle is still in motion. Sometimes a craft may land blocking the road ahead and forcing the driver to bring the vehicle to a halt, after which Contact occurs.
