Contact - Who?

From the many Contact cases on record, a number of particular types / species of being are reported time and time again, some more regularly than others.

Grey

An extremely commonly reported type/species of being involved with Contact are who we have named the “Greys”, due to their usual skin tone, which is often pale grey in colouration. Greys are generally reported as being short in height, around 3.5 to 4 feet high (metric), however significantly shorter or taller Greys are also reported, potentially indicating the existence of a number of sub-types / sub-species.

Greys are often described as having a slender body form, almost fragile in appearance, but with a large inverted pear or heart-shaped head. They often have very large eyes which are slanted almond, tear-drop or oval shaped. More often than not their eyes are completely black in colour, although sometimes irises and pupils can be seen.

They tend to have reduced facial features – a small diminished nose, a thin slit for a mouth and two ear holes. These features are so diminished that they are sometimes not even visible to the experiencer, especially if viewed at a distance.

They are often seen to wear tight-fitting jumpsuits or hooded robes of a variety of colours. Sometimes a belt, boots or insignia can be observed. However in many cases they are completely unclothed.

Their skin can be smooth and soft to the touch, although sometimes extremely wrinkled beings have been reported. They are usually described as having three long thin fingers and a thumb on each hand, but this does not appear to always be the case. In most cases they do not appear to possess genitalia. Sometimes their body shape is seen, but they are just dark silhouettes or completely glowing in white light.

Greys communicate with people telepathically instead of audibly. They can communicate through recognisable words, spoken in whichever language the individual is fluent in, or sometimes through emotions or feelings. They can also project visions directly into the individual’s mind and control movement or behaviour, potentially indicating a high level of intelligence and use of consciousness. This telepathy often extends far beyond our understanding of a mere conversation.

Nordic

Nordics (sometimes simply referred to as humanoids) are extremely human-like in appearance. The term “Nordics” has been coined because of the colour of their hair, which is usually blonde or pale, a trait common in people of Nordic heritage.

These beings tend to have chiselled features, and are often described by experiencers as “beautiful” in appearance. They usually have intense blue irises, but aside from this they look human, so much so that in some cases individuals encountering them believed they are human at the time of their experience, especially if they are not familiar with the Contact subject. If they have a religious upbringing they may interpret them as angels.

Unlike many of the other types / species reported, Nordics are distinctively male or female in appearance. They tend to wear blue or silver coloured jumpsuits, or sometimes flowing robes. Nordics can communicate both telepathically and audibly.

Experiences with them are often viewed in a positive light, and some experiencers come to view them in a manner similar to extended family members.

Their human-like appearance certainly suggests they are related to us in some way, although the exact reason for this similarity continues to be regularly debated.

Reptilian

This type / species of being has been named so due to their reptile-like appearance. They walk upright and have a strong muscular body frame. Sometimes they are reported to have long tails, though this is not always present. Their skin is covered in visible scales in shades of green or brown, though other colours are also sometimes noted. Their hands and feet are usually reported as possessing sharp claws, and their eyes have vertical pupils.

As with other types/species encountered they communicate telepathically. In some cases people seem to be extremely frightened of them to an un-natural level (potentially due to their appearance), although this aspect is not always reported.

There are a number of cases on record where experiencers have observed this type / species visibly shape shift to or from a human form.

Mantid

The similarity in appearance to a Praying Mantis insect has given rise to the name of this particular type / species. They usually have very large eyes that wrap around the sides of the head. Sometimes they have visible antennae emerging from their head, though in other cases appear to possess characteristics somewhat similar to tall Greys.

In many cases, like other types / species, they are unclothed. However they are sometimes reported to wear hooded robes.

Mantids appear to be rarer than the other types / species, and are less widely reported, but there are still many cases on record where they have been encountered.

Exotic

A variety of other beings have been reported over the years, sometimes from a small number of cases, others seemingly unique to a single incident. Sometimes particular types / species appear localised to certain geographical areas.

This may not necessarily indicate the existence of a vast number of different types / species. Due to the fact that the true appearance of the beings may sometimes be masked through “screen memories” (See Contact – What?), it is possible that some of these unusual appearances have been the result of this.
